If you missed the last few days around here, you have a lot to get caught up on!
The first remote convention was a success by any measure. There were over 150 attendees for each of the two days. We first want to thank our former Rats DOC, GOPHUR, RAFTER, and RAMP for joining us at Saturday's convention and talking about the early days of WWII Online. Their stories about the challenges of the early years were very similar to the pressures and turmoil the current Rats experience. It's nice to know we're not alone.
The second day of the convention was dedicated to talking about the future of WWII Online and explaining in detail our short term and long term plans.

Meet CHOKEPOINT
WWII Online: Chokepoint is an authentic F2P WW2 Multiplayer Tactical Shooter, driven by teamwork and built-in voice comms set in 1944 during the liberation of Europe.
Chokepoint represents the future of WWII Online, in the form of a standalone game. With an all-new team at CRS working on it (known as Wing 2), we've been able to develop new content, assets and IP to support future growth into the Unreal Engine - the destination for WWII Online 2.0. The game is built using the Unreal engine and the graphics are stunning. The game will be available to Builders in closed beta testing in July. The steam release date has not been determined.

Along those lines we want to welcome Stefan and Vanguardxe to our community from Chokepoint. We have noticed many of the Chokepoint beta testers have been over to try out WWII Online.
