Attention all soldiers! On March 8th 2020 we will be hosting a live server event which is our fourth installment of, “Operation Fury.” Please sign up to which role you’d like to participate in for maximum cohesion. Allied and Axis forces can sign up in the Special Events Forum (here). This will be a CRS led event on both sides happening simultaneously and we expect ferocious fighting. Everyone is welcome to join, invite your squad mates and start signing up right away!
WHAT IS THIS EVENT?
Operation Fury is designed to be like a realism event, with pre-event sign ups, with a fall-in command structure to maximize success and cohesion on the battlefield. By signing up to this event, you agree to be online for the duration of the event and follow your commanders in a “role play” like fashion. It will be held on the live game server and the campaign outcomes will remain. This will not be scripted in terms of the battles, only the hierarchy. All infantry access will be unlocked during the event so Free Players can try out new equipment and continue to support the battle(s).
HOW LONG WILL THIS EVENT LAST?
Typically these sort of events last at least 4 hours and upwards to 6-8. With this sort of advanced notice, you should plan on keeping your schedule a bit clear and focus on having a hardcore day of WWII Online with everyone playing their hardest.
WILL THERE BE VOICE COMMS?
Yes, on Discord. And you will be expected to have a working microphone, or at a minimum be online the channel and capable of communicating through your assigned text channel.
CAN MY SQUAD JOIN A SINGLE UNIT?
Yes! We’ll be happy to accommodate keeping squads together as best as we can. Please consider where your squad will be most effective in the roster and look at filling command positions first.
DOES IT COST ANYTHING EXTRA?
No, just have an active play-able subscription and you can join the event.
If your account is currently inactive, you can reactivate it here http://account.wwiionline.com.

Both sides will be organized and players will fall in to the command structure where they signed up. The primary objective is to have organized game play in WWII Online. Orders will be passed down in terms of where to go, and each unit will be expected to carry out those objectives. This will demonstrate how the game really should be played (at all times).
