Whether you have spent two hours every month training a new guy, twenty hours every week making sure the game world is running smoothly or an hour a day Beta testing, we want you to know that everyone here at Cornered Rat Software is incredibly thankful for the time and energy that you donate to the WWIIOL cause.

For the past 10 years, WWIIOL has had community volunteers step forward and take some of the load off the shoulders of our small, but dedicated, staff. Many of the tools that we use today were created because of their amazing abundance of enthusiasm and dedication to this project. We are inundated daily with requests to help in some capacity or another, and we wish we could take up all of those. Our volunteers are a rare breed; they work tirelessly and sometimes completely anonymously to keep our community safe, make game play fun, organize events, help the FNGs, create amazing new game tools, promote the game and much more.

We have had far too many volunteers over the years to list them all individually, but here are some of the jobs they do that keep us going:

Game Managers
Game Moderators
Trainers
Forum Moderators
High Command Officers
Recruiters
Community Leaders
Forum Liaisons
Special Events Organizers
Beta Testers
Translators
Cartoonist

And then you've got a whole batch of people that have created tools, websites, maps, videos and training manuals simply for the betterment of your gaming experience. These guys and gals don't get paid to do this, it's all for love of the game. It's astounding how many hours that some of our volunteers pour into WWIIOL, and it's also a bit humbling.

So here is a salute to you, volunteer. You have our gratitude and appreciation for all that you do to enrich our game and community
