JammymanIf you've been a WWIIOL:Battleground Europe subscriber for a little or a long time, you've heard about or participated in one of the many special events that we've held. Some of the events are simple and straight forward, and some are complex and detailed. But they are all fun. Leading the Realism Events team for the past several years, Thomas "Jammyman" Kendall has provided all of us with some memorable events.

His recent "Clash of the Titans" event was, as usual, a successful and fun event for all who partook. Jammyman and his team have designed not only unique events, but have also recreated well known WWII engagements such as Pearl Harbor and The Battle for Remagen. These events are very carefully planned, with hours and hours of work going into the design, sign up, and implementation.  His ongoing "Squad Challenge" tournament runs weekly on the training server, with squads battling it out against each other in the hopes of winning the Squad Challenge Victor decal.

Jammyman has also been a valuable asset in designing and supervising many events that CRS has held on the live server, including Intermissions, Kill A Rat and Welcome Back Soldier events. His attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the events run smoothly are remarkable. His love of WWIIOL and these events is apparent in the amount of work he he puts in to design and host the events, but also after wards, providing written and video After Action Reports, many of which can be found in the Community Events and Notes section of the website.

Jammyman and his team are now working on another Pearl Harbor event to be held in December. This will be the third time for this event, the last two were simply amazing. I am eagerly looking forward to playing again, and perhaps even surviving the first wave of attackers.

Events and ideas can be found in the official Realism Event Forum. You can sign up for upcoming events, view AARs and videos of past ones, and even submit a suggestion for future consideration.

Cornered Rat Software is grateful for the hard work and incredible dedication that Jammyman is well known for. He is one of our most valued volunteers and we all look forward to participation in his future scenarios.
