Attention all soldiers of WWII Online - We hear war drums in the distance...… Hostilities look likely and therefore, Campaign 173 will begin Thursday, 5-7-2020 at about 4:00 PM server time (PST). No changes to the Allied and Axis senior High Command officers. The Allies have a score to settle! Don't forget, all veteran accounts have received FREE PLAY access, spread the word, and let's get our squaddies back in! Finally, don't forget our latest development roadmap deliverables coming in version 1.36.5 which is on schedule for release this month! What's going to be in this release?

When: Tomorrow, Thursday, May 7, 2020 at about 4:00 PM server time (PST) the server will come down for setup and should be up within 30 minutes.

All High Command officers are player volunteers and we need more of you!! We have streamlined "Officer Candidate School" (OCS) program for both new players joining the High Command and returning officers. Participating in the HC will give you a new perspective to the game and comes with special game and communication tools.

We know that the current economic climate due to COVID-19 has presented significant challenges. Recently, CRS leadership opened the door so that ALL VETERAN (past accounts) can play WWII Online for FREE under the "Free Play" subscription. This is available now and we hope to see you in-game.

Version 1.36.5 - delivering on our Roadmap and more:
We are on schedule for release this month of game version 1.36.5. This release is another set of deliverables on our development roadmap and as we discussed in our most recent Rat Chat this release will include the following items and features:
- HUD Mission Waypoints
- Engineer Class Split: Creates a combat engineer and a (traditional) engineer.
- New Modular Linkable Trenches
- Sandbag and Barbed Wire PPO's Now Linkable
- STO (Server Tracked Objects) for Bombers - No longer does target have to be visible for damage or kill.
- Sturmgewehr 44
