I am pleased to announce that Christopher "TEX64" Lord has taken over the position of Community Manager. I will be moving within CRS to the position of Assistant Game Manager, working for OHM. TEX64 has brought onboard two new Axis Assistant Community Managers (ACM's). To see our new additions, continue reading this article.
Message from Community Manager TEX64:
Before moving forward regarding some important updates to the Community Management Team (CMT), I just wanted to speak to our gaming community that we at CRS have the same passion and commitment towards the game in its present and future iterations as you do. At present the Allied ACM's is staffed by the strong advocates BLKHWK8 and WESTY91. They work with great sacrifice and commitment to help the Allied cause as well as the Allied High Command and the overall health of the game. At this time, CRS is looking for an additional volunteer to come onboard to bolster the Allied community management team and to work alongside these outstanding individuals. With the recent promotions coming within the CMT, it became clear and necessary that additional resources needed to be added to represent the Axis player base. As a result, I am very pleased to announce that two long-time gamers who have exhibited a passion for the game while being level-headed and have significant experience in tenure while playing BOTH sides in WWIIONLINE. I am very excited to announce the additions of IAN77 and TREVOR8 as ACM's representing the Axis side.
Please take a moment to read about these gamers who have stepped up to help YOU and the game.

I have been playing the game for over 15 years usually in TZs 1 & 2 and while I am predominantly an Axis player I regularly play Allied as well. I became a member of the 1LB Iron Wolves on the first day I joined the game, and can often be found running with WHIPS or AEF in TZ1 and TZ2. I was in Axis HC way back when, and for those who remember such things, I started out as an XO in 17.2 KG.
I hail from Scotland in the UK and at 57 years old I am married with two sons. I arranged accounts for both my boys but they only seemed to want to kill me rather than enjoy the full experience the game has to offer! I can usually be found on discord, complaining about the number of sappers, zooks, and Bus0 with his deadly tank-busting Hurri!

I have been a history buff for as long as I can remember. Around 2001 I was dragged along into a Walmart while my mother was doing her shopping and I told her she could find me in the magazine/PC/console game aisle. After reading tons of articles on the power of the PC, at some point I found the WWIIOL original box. Opened the front cover . . . and was awestruck. A full simulation of WWII with historical attributes? I could not believe this was a thing. Half-scale of Europe?!
I begged my parents to get me a PC for "school". I made sure the specs, as low as they were, met the minimum requirements and the 56k AOL network connection. My first memories of the game are lying in ditches along the road, watching tanks and trucks flip off them, tossing the unknowing players to their doom and death. Crawling through high grass with machine fire, Stukas bombing the Dinant Hill, Char armies, and Panzer-zergs! I was hooked. I played Allied for the majority of the next 18 years or so and have been playing Axis since December of 2020.
I started playing the game as a young teenager and grew into an adult with it. I served the US overseas in Iraq while in the army and joined local law enforcement when I returned. I was ambushed in October of 2020 at an intersection where I was shot in the face. Since then I have had a little more time to play while I am on the mend. One odd fact about my time playing, I played TGTCWTF (the game that comes with the forums) from Iraq using a satellite connection (it did work with a ping of like 400+and I bet I was .reported 100x over). This game is like no other that has ever been on the market and I am proud to be a part of it. There is NO OTHER World War II Online.
Welcome aboard, IAN77 and TREVOR8 and congrats to TEX64!
