 A new season is upon us, the leaves are changing colors and falling temperatures observed as our days become shorter.  In Texas we like to call it "Second Spring" with temperatures occasionally below 90 degrees. Before I throw another log on the fire and grab my woolen sweater, here's a quick reminder of how to navigate through the Community Report with a big announcement batting lead-off.

You heard right . . . it's Rat Chat Time!  Get your Zoom (XOOM) on and make sure to attend!  For the last several weeks the Community Report has been talking about an upcoming change in a game mechanic that will be fundamentally different that which has existed for a long period of time.  For a quick review you can read these select segments prior to the Rat chat:

Cornered Rat Software has some important information to share with you all about incoming game design changes as it relates to the Campaign flow and High Command programs.  Additionally we have some behind the scenes updates to share with you relating to our current version of WWII Online and what sort of progress WWII Online 2.0 is making.  Please sign up and share the word to your fellow community members, let's get some strong attendance!

Campaign Update - #184

As of this writing on my Underwood Model 5 typewriter, the Axis troops are clinging do their last foothold on the Meuse River in the ancient fortress city of Verdun.  At present there is a massive attack striking Verdun while an equally ferocious attack is hitting Rochefort as the Axis look to stop the Allied momentum.  The Central Meuse Valley has been recaptured with the French Forces gaining added firepower with Lend/Lease Sherman tanks.  On Day 54 of the campaign, the Allies has forged ahead to a 59% versus 41% Axis ownership of the map.  You can view this critical information whether at work, at lunch, or during your non-gaming time via the WWIIOL Webmap. Can the tide be turned as there remain hundreds of towns to capture and recapture before the campaign is decided?  We are in advanced tiers so there is plenty of equipment to fight the enemy with so dig in or go on the assault!  Your contribution matters.  Do you wonder how to improve your K/D ratio?  Get on Discord . . . meet new friends on Discord. 

The Mailbag

• Mailbag reminder - ANYONE can post on the Discord Mailbag Channel; however, after you post your question you will NOT be able to see your question only CRS will be able to see it.  That is by design to keep the channel clear. 
• The Forum Mailbag is still a work in progress (don't soon^tm me either)

Several of you have mentioned that various sites are still down (to include Squad Tools), this is an ongoing issue that we are aware of and are attempting to get everything back online.  Please continue to let us know if you have found other sites which are NOT accessible.

There have been some supply issues with the various brigade(s).  This is currently under review by OHM so more info will be forthcoming in a future update.
