There are two primary missions for OPERATION ELEPHANT . . .
make the East Coast Test Server sweat a little bit and for you guys to have fun while we evaluate to see how the server performed. Continue reading to review the specific Operations Orders and Mission Objectives for each side.
Event Date: 01.15.2022
Start Time: 1100 Hours Server Time (1100 Pacific / 1300 Central / 1900 GMT)
End Time: 1400 - 1430 Hours Server Time
Operation Elephant - Allied OPORD
Operation Elephant - Axis OPORD
Simple rules:
1) Stay within the boundaries indicated on the maps contained in the OPORD (this is to keep population density and stress the server)
2) There will be a 30-minute window at the start of the event for the Axis to place their defensive PPOs ---- no combat is to be occurring at that time (the Allies can use this time to coordinate and to begin to move towards the engagement areas
3) DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGES THAT ARE MARKED "DO NOT CROSS" (this is a gameplay consideration and could result in being kicked from the event)
4) Capturing the AB or AF bunker(s) does NOT immediately guarantee victory. The Army Base is NOT required for victory but the capture & holding of the AF bunker (along with a required teamwork component) can nearly put the Allies over the finish line.
Read your respective side's OPORD to get an understanding of what your objectives are and how best to WIN the event.
*NOTE* Due to server test, we all must be prepared to be flexible prior to and during the stress test. So remain calm if event parameters change. We are trying something new to help improve the game experience of our player base but sometimes things happen. :)
