Before we dive into the *super secret* 2022 Roadmap, let's talk about several other important issues . . . .
Campaign #187 Raging!
C187 is raging across Europe with pitched battles, determined bomber RDP raids, intense ground combat . . . with the recent launch of the new campaign now is the time to rally up and make a difference for your faction!
Important Issues:
- The GM Team is continually re-evaluating the game and you may have seen a recent change in the number of Matilda's in-game. The current availability of this unit will continue at its adjusted level for the interim. When we have additional information on this issue we will communicate to the player base.
- Returning to our roots ---- as some of our more seasoned veterans can attest there was a time during our game's history that squads and the High Command worked hand-in-hand. It is CRS' intent to give the player base more control in the selection of their leaders who make up the senior level of the HC structure.
- As a result, the players will be voting on their senior commanders who will then serve a defined length of time.
- Once established, these senior commanders along with Community Management will be working closely together to communicate with squads and individual gamers as we look for like-minded gamers to plugin themselves and/or squads into a very stream-lined HC.
- This player/squad-centric approach will work in conjunction with the LTC cadre already in-game.
- We actively encourage our LTC cadre to put their names forward if they are interested in leading their respective side's war effort in a greater capacity.
2022 Roadmap Discussion
Our 2022 Roadmap covert recon team was last seen parachuting out of an aircraft. Let's see if we can reach them via radio . . .
** crackling static, high-frequency pops*
"Broadsword calling Danny Boy. Broadsword calling Danny Boy, over."
Located deep within an impenetrable forest, surrounded by rugged mountains lies the CRS Top-Secret laboratory, bristling with masses of concertina wire and guard towers. Frothing and snarling Dachshund attack dogs nip at our heels as we hustle through the gate and are lead through a non-descript metal door that is shallowly dented with the smear of blood and other material.
"Was that brain matter," hoarsely whispered one of the newer recruits?
"It's just left-over pizza," growled a veteran soldier.
Through the door and down a narrow and dark hallway. Down we go, our footsteps cloaked in the darkness; onward we go. Down, down, down - the air getting heavy and damp, followed by a faint dripping of water, a sporadic chorus signaling our continued descent into the earth. The footing was becoming treacherous, but our escort swiftly trudged along without a torch. Slowly, a faint pinhole of light appeared, after long minutes of silent walking the pinhole became a growing beacon that revealed a doorway. Our escort pushed us into the light and quickly slammed the door shut with an ominous and stifling clunk.
To our amazement sat all the Rats and they were gesturing frantically, typing away on keyboards; located at the back of the room were the vague outlines of racks and racks of servers and cabling labeled "Portland". Still, there was no sound in the room outside of the low hum of the server fans running. After several minutes one Rat stopped speaking to the other Rats and approached the intrepid travelers still assembled close to the door.
The Rat was speaking but still, no voice came forth then with a loud pop there was sound!
"Hey, guys, sorry! It's me, Xoom! I had the room on mute while the team was still discussing proprietary stuff. We are unmuted now so grab a seat and welcome to our 2022 Roadmap Discussion.

Where do I find the Roadmap for 2022? I thought this article was leading to it. The Webinar started at 01.00 [am] my time so I had no chance to attend.
Everything you have written focuses on a finite number of things we were not able to complete in the timeline we had hoped, or in some cases (such as the last two) which had to be withdrawn due to technical issues which presented a greater negative than a positive.
Instead, you avoided the entirety of all the things delivered and improved upon, relating to the roadmap and unrelated. We hold ourselves deeply accountable to the roadmaps and anytime there is a missed goal, we re-add it to the front of the list. CRS is continuing to produce while resource-strapped and mostly dependent on a volunteer force. We will continue to deliver as best as we can, knowing that our goals represent just that: "goals". If this is the behavior we can expect going forward, then we will simply stop producing public roadmaps and deliver items when available / as we can.
For everyone else who is attending tomorrow's roadmap update, we will be addressing these things outstanding listed and each one of them are making progress / have not been forgotten despite the writer's intent to suggest that. Stay tuned for more.
Quoting OutofTouch:
Maybe if CRS would stop surrounding themselves with sycophants to boost their own egos, and rely on those players who actually play the game. Your own CM team is in disarray and the Game Managers are reactionary to the squicky wheels which kills morale and creates the consipiracy theorist in the toxic forums.
You tinker with supply, tier mechanics and dont hold yourselves accountable for your own road maps.
NO JU88, (3 years on roadmap)
NO .30 cal (5 years on roadmap)
NO IGVC (3 years on roadmap)
NO Wellington (2 years on roadmap)
Bomber loadouts (released and then removed)
Mission target change (released then removed)
No you want us to trust you in 2.0 which has not had an update since August 2021.
