Salute and good day!  I'd like to thank everyone including all our team leads for making my first couple of weeks in Community Relations as interesting and challenging as possible! I'm making some small changes to ensure that our community continues to grow and remains a fun and safe environment for players, old or new.  Please remember that I and all our community leads are here for YOU.  So never hesitate to send me emails or PMs with any thoughts, questions or concerns.

From the Desk of the Special Events Director

There are currently no events planned, but that doesn't mean there won't be any in March. We've got some interesting new events that need to be fleshed out and scheduled, but at the moment the team is working on the Campaign #51 Intermission plan so that it's ready to go at a moment's notice.

From the Desk of the Lead Game Moderator

The Game Managers are really excited to see such an influx of new players to the game. This community has a passion for this game that is unmatched by any other in our opinion. We welcome all new players but ask that they become familiar with the Terms of Service located here:

With all the new players lately, the Game Managers have seen an increase of some reports submitted by players. At  this point I would like to point out some of the most reported infractions of the Terms of Service.

Political remarks of the game era, particularly of Party names, are not allowed on open chat in Battleground Europe. This game is played all over the world and in some countries referral to political parties of the game era is against the law. So any reports received or chat observed on open channels in reference to these parties will be dealt with.

Also, any reported or observed cheating will not be tolerated. Again, this is covered completely in the Terms of Service. Any game cheating can result in a minimum two day ban to a permanent ban of the player’s account. This community will not tolerate any form of cheating which takes away from the enjoyment of the game for others.

Game Managers are players of the game just like everyone else. The only difference is that we also volunteer our time to help other players. If you need help in game just /report it. However, Game Managers cannot help with Game Code and we will not respond with chat to your report.

From the Desk of the Lead Forum Moderator

The forums have been moving smoothly the past couple of weeks.  Not alot of new activity although some discussion of the planned 1.30 patch has been taking place.  In addition, there have been many threads by players offering suggestions for future developments.  Everything from possible new buildings, new planes, tanks, and naval features has been brought up.

One thing that I do see mentioned occasionally is that someone has a question about the forum rules.  There is a link at the bottom of each forum page where you can find the forum TOS.  Here is the link   If anybody has a specific question, you can contact me via PM or email, which can be found at that link.

From the Desk of the Lead Trainer

Battleground Europe is fortunate enough to have one of the most helpful and enthusiastic community of players ever known. The Training team is happy to take noobs by the hand whenever they need it, but what we need is YOU! If you see a green tag wandering around looking lost, remind him to seek out a trainer on the help channel so we can get him playing better faster.

We're always looking for more volunteers, please send me a PM if you'd like to join the team.
