It's been another quick week in Rat Land topped off with an informative Rat Chat this Sunday. We were excited to have over 80 participants with a number of good questions to CRS. I also would like to thank all of the CRS presenters as various members of our team showed what's going on behind the scenes. The recording can be found . . .
here at Rat Chat - 10/17

There were a number of great questions some which will be answered today and others in the future Community Reports.
Can the game have Friendly FMS marker versus having to use the enemy ship mark? ANSWER: This is a good idea and something that CRS will look into implementing; no timeframe can be given.
Can the PPO Strength be increased due to prevent the bomber eliminating hours of digging? ANSWER: We would like to hear more community discussion on this. We do have to balance this appropriately as a direct hit by a bomb should impact the PPO.
Campaign Update - #184
As of this writing on my Underwood Model 5 typewriter, the Allies are pushing back onto the frontiers of Germany with a cluster of Axis troops cut-off at Stavelot. Desperate fighting is ongoing as I type this communique. On Day 60 of the campaign, the Allies has forged ahead to a 78% versus 22% Axis ownership of the map. You can view this critical information whether at work, at lunch, or during your non-gaming time via the WWIIOL Webmap. Can the tide be turned as there remain many towns to capture and recapture before the campaign is decided?
Discord Tip: Are you aware of the #wiretap-intel channel on Discord? You can view/follow depot captures and more on this channel. Yes, there is a strategic delay to protect the innocent. :)
Oh, and increase your K/D ratio by getting on . . . Discord.
The Mailbag
- Mailbag reminder - ANYONE can post on the Discord Mailbag Channel; however, after you post your question you will NOT be able to see your question only CRS will be able to see it. That is by design to keep the channel clear.
- The Forum Mailbag is still a work in progress (don't soontm me either)
Squad tools are back online!! Kudos to Sniper62 for making that happen. Please continue to let us know if you have found other sites which are NOT accessible.
Question: When will the M1919 .30 caliber be in-game? ANSWER: Once the M-1 carbine has been patched into the game, the M1919 will be the next piece of infantry kit to be developed by MESOZOIC MYSTERY of CRS.
Question: Will the players be able to differentiate between Squad AOs and High Command AOs? ANSWER: Not at this time. The best way will continue to be via in-game chat.
How to be Successful in WWIIOL
