We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving here at CRS! Our team wanted to reach out to you to share some gratitude and thoughts. Altogether, it is a strong reminder of how special this place is, how it has brought so many of us together over the years, and an opportunity to reflect on the good things happening. We couldn't do this without you, our community continuously supporting the cause, and our great people here internally at CRS who are working to bring you improvements and innovation to WWII Online. TEX64: I am thankful for the CRS 2.0 team members - they are truthfully overlooked and taken for granted by so many in our community. Ours is not an easy journey that we have embarked on, the potholes are not always known and the expectations are high but the goal is sooo worth the reach in UE5 and WWIIOL 2.0. Looking at our community, I am thankful for the silent thousands of players who want our project to succeed. They may not always be active on the forums or social media but they are there month after month, year after year with their subscriptions and occasional notes of thanks or praise. Those messages and words of encouragement are so helpful and wonderful to read and share amongst the team. I am also thankful to our squeaky wheels in the community and their perspectives are, at times, very insightful and view things from a perspective or impact that we had not initially recognized. Without them, we could not be successful, too, as we are as human as the next gamer. From a selfish perspective, I am thankful for the introduction of artillery and indirect fire into WWIIOL, not only because it has been a long-held dream for me but also what it means to others from a combat simulation or exercise but how it helps the game overall in the long run. Okay, this is waaay too long of a post but those are my thoughts. Happy Thanksgiving, WWIIOL Community!! Working together we can accomplish some great things! 2023 will mark a new direction for our game and we hope that you will continue to support us. !S, tex64
OLDZEKE: I'm thankful to our players for supporting this great game. For me this has been a big source of enjoyment. In the past 21 years playing this game I've met some of the best people on earth. I've also had the honor of being a part of CRS itself and made many friends within the company. None of this would have/could have happened without the support of our players. Thank you all and I wish everyone a happy, and safe, holiday season.
OHM: I am very thankful for all the players I have played alongside and have helped. I have learned a lot over the years being here and without their help I would not be who I am today. Looking forward to many more years with them S!
TREVOR8: I am thankful for this community player base as a whole. We are all a different breed of gamer with the same dream. I look forward to the milestones in the future that we all strive for together.
CHIMM: To ALL of our players, my most sincere thank you! Without you sticking with WWII Online I would be bored to tears lol. I love the friendships I have gained over the years and look forward to many more. I am incredibly humbled to be part of our great community. Happy Holidays everyone. S!
MIKEMUDD: I started playing in 2005 because of my long-time interest in WW2 itself, a passion started by my father who purchased a six-volume large format WW2 history when I was a teenager, which I still have in my bookcase. The realism and sense of the uncertainty of battle also drew me and held my interest over the years. The longevity of this game and the fact that almost the entire code base was developed from scratch still amazes me as a volunteer dev.
Fantom: I am thankful to the WWIIOL community for being active, supporting the game and keeping it alive. Your needs and wants give people like myself as a developer an opportunity to learn, grow and provide something that has real value to a community of people, S!
Tyrdaimp: I am grateful for everything we have. As a long time player, and a volunteer for CRS. I am happy to see that everyone who plays this game, is like family to us. Many of which are also long time players and still supported and believed In us through thick and thin. I am grateful for having a outstanding team of volunteers who work diligently and thoroughly to not only find issues, but to also solve them. I am grateful for our bright future.
Mustang: I would like to thank each and every one of our active members of the community for continuing to support this amazing game. There are so many exciting things on the horizon for WWII Online. This game has provided me with so many incredible memories, especially when playing with my father, (rolltide). I’m 23 years old and have been playing as long as I can remember. It’s always an incredible feeling being able to launch up and get into the action with my now 61 year old dad. We are still able to bond over this timeless game, and for that I am extremely thankful.
Euphobone: First of all, I want to give thanks to God, my family and friends. I wouldn't have the life I have without them. And, to the WWII Online community: I am thankful to you for welcoming me! What I thought was going to be a game I would just play casually, here and there - after really not playing games for about 20 years - has become something that I have now been given an opportunity to play a bigger role in! It's also a place my brother and I can now relive our childhood memories of growing up playing video games! Salute to you all! Have a great holiday season!
