Squads and High Command go hand in hand with everything that is WWII Online's gaming experience. Today we want to share with you that we want Squads back as part of HC, and how you'll get some recognition within the game world for doing so. We'll also discuss how being an HC officer gives you some content perks as well. Finally, Squad representation within the HC program helps your Squad achieve their goals by having people equipped with the right set of tools to ensure the Campaign goes the very best for your side / team. Okay let's get into it!
SQUADS IN HIGH COMMAND - THE CONCEPT
We believe that Squads being in High Command is VITAL to improving WWII Online's Campaign, not just for your side, but for everyone. Here's the general pitch of what it means to align your Squad with HC:
- Squads will need to meet certain criteria (down below). This will include minimum number of players active, a side affiliation set, and leaders willing to join HC.
- The total number of Squad participants to become High Command Officers is three (3).
- These new HC officers will all be placed in a SINGLE (1) brigade, part of our most active Division(s) available.
- Your Squad Name will be visible on the game's user interface, for everyone to see.
- These new HC officers will receive full HC tools and perks (which are currently available for all current HC officers).
- Squads are eligible to receive their own Squad forums within the current http://forums.wwiionline.com main area.
Squads and High Command are here to stay, including at / beyond the implementation of 1.36 Hybrid Supply.

NEW SQUADS WHO NEED HELP GROWING
We have some tools to help you with this goal. This includes directly infusing your Squad with NEW players who sign up to the game so you can help them and turn their first WWII Online experience into an amazing one! You'll also receive a brand new loyal community member to help your Squad further.
If you're interested in this, check out our NEW SQUADS LOOKING TO GROW forum thread.
SQUAD REQUIREMENTS (ELIGILIBILITY)
- Has at least 10 active players
- All must stay active weekly
- 3 of those players will join HC
- Premium subscription required
- Has an established Squad night
- Once per week
- Is working to grow its numbers
- Has in-game recruiter flags turned on
If a Squad is approved and then falls from these standards, your Squad may be subject to losing its User Interface recognition perk.
SQUADS ON THE USER INTERFACE
Once you meet the requirements our Game Management team will add YOUR SQUAD name to the user interface for everyone on your side and the opposing side to see. We've tested this and it works great!
YOUR SQUAD WILL TAKE CHARGE OF A BRIGADE IN HIGH COMMAND
Our structure always includes, 1 Division and 3 Brigades. So for example, your Squad would look like this:
- 51st Highland Division
- Commander
- Executive Officer
- 1st Brigade YOUR SQUAD NAME HERE
- YOU - Brigade Commander
- Squaddie #1 - Brigade Executive Officer
- Squaddie #2 - Brigade XXO
- Your squad all together gets associated here
- 2nd Brigade Another Squad
- 3rd Brigade Another Squad
Representation in Division Command will come from those three Brigades.

SQUADS AND HC PARTICIPATION IS MEANT TO BE
We've designed the game so that Squads are able to grow and continue to grow, that takes some great leadership and consistency. We want to do what ever we can to help you in this endeavor and stand ready to do so. By joining the High Command you're affirming your commitment to your side and are helping make the whole game stronger.
For our Veteran players and Squads, we know that High Command has been around for awhile. But we cannot emphasize just how important it is to recognize that we need to start fresh and go forward. This is no doubt a call to action to step up our game across the board to improve the atmosphere. If you're in an existing Squad and need some help growing, we can help you with infusing new players into your Squad as well. Get those "Recruiter Flags" turned on and let us know how we can help.
I look forward to seeing Squads step up and take advantage of this program, we hope the recognition and recent perks added to being in HC helps.
This was asked to encourage Squad growth. That's what WWII Online requires. You get to choose who your squad mates are and who gets to stay, you remain in control of how your squad runs. We need the doors open, not closed, for new players.
You charge $18/month you should be able to pay someone to be in HC if it's that important.
