You and High Command - It Matters

WWII Online offers campaign style game play spreading over 300,000SQ KM in Western Europe. With hundreds of cities and strategic elements coinciding with first person combat game play, there's a lot of orchestrating to be done to keep operations moving. For this task and organization called the "High Command" was born, and it needs more volunteers! Learn about why HC matters and how YOU can help create great game play for all.

The High Command (HC) on both the Axis and Allied side are volunteers that coordinate the strategic game play objectives with the players and squads. WWII Online provides you the opportunity to participate at the tactical level as an individual player or as a member of a squad.

The combined Arms aspect of WWII Online allows a player to experience Air, Ground, or Naval action. WWII Online offers a wide range of game play. You could be Infantry, Armor or in a Fighter Bomber attacking a specific target. The key is the teamwork, coordination and focus required for a successful operation.

The real strength of the game play are the individual player relationships that are established over time. Communication and coordination are key.

The teamwork, strategic coordination and leadership are where the High Command come into play. WWII Online requires implementing a coordinated Combines Arms Strategy to be successful. The plan must be coordinated with the Player Base (PB) and effectively use the all the assets required: Aircraft, Infantry, Armor and Naval units.

The High Command utilizes volunteer, experienced players that assume respective roles as Branch Officers specializing in in Air, Ground or Naval warfare. The High Command formulates a overall strategy for a campaign. The HC Branch Officers will provide the day to day objectives for their respective side. The Allied and Axis HC are constantly adjusting the day to day Objectives to counter each other.

There are many considerations for the HC to plan for: Supply, Brigade/unit movement, and strategic/tactical objectives. A challenging and entertaining aspect to the game that requires communication with fellow HC officers and the Player Base. HC Officer Branch experience (Air, Ground or Naval) comes into play while coordinating the day to day objectives. New friendships will be established and you will develop a greater appreciation for what WWII Online offers.

Where do you come in? What is the High Command looking for in a potential HC Officer? A player with expertise in one or more of the Combined Arms. A player that communicates well. A player that is well respected and in good standing with the community.

A player looking for a new challenge in the game. A player looking to give back to the game they have enjoyed for so long.

Training is provided for the new HC officers. You will gain a better understanding of the WWII Online, learn new aspects of the game and develop new friendships. Just as important you will be supporting the game you enjoy.
