An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief:  Again another exciting week for team axis as we race toward the coast.  Our Kriegsmarine forces have been doing an outstanding job securing the northern coast and keeping the enemy on their toes.  Luftwaffe pilots have been bombing, strafing and keeping the air clear of the enemy, while our Heer soldats and Panzerkorps have been crushing the Allied defenses.

An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: The Axis forces have us pushed back but not all the way.  We are still fighting hard every day and making them work for any town they may gain.  We are in prime position to take advantage of this map.  While the Axis forces think we are done we still fight hard.  They will slack off on the pressure and get sloppy.  This is the time we as the Allies must come together and fight.  The players working with AHC to push this map back the other way.  We can catch the Axis sleeping and will fight hard to do so.  This will not be easy for them.  I am confident in our ability to be pushed back and still prevail.

An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: S! Allied Players. We are now in the third week of the campaign and there has been some tremendous battles of the course of the last week such as Brussels, Antwerp, Gent, Valenciennes and Zottegem just to name a few.  We are holding strong and it makes me proud to be an allied player fighting along side and watching dedicated allied players around the game doing their best. As allied an allied player we keep fighting until the end, so lets keep it up and lets push the axis back!Continuing my review of the .reports we receive, I see many common items.

An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief:  S! Team Axis.  Well it’s been another incredible week of fighting along the front.  We have our tier2 equipment in stock and the factories are working overtime to keep up with demand.  The team axis squads and OKW officers have been slowly but steadily pushing the allies to the coast.  If our teamwork and dedication hold us thru, we should make it on time to the burger, beer and weenie roast in Le Touquet!

Monday, July 20th Playnet's player discussion forums will be taken down in order to carry out a major upgrade. KILLER has built a brand new server home for them, loaded with the latest version of vBulletin. The down time will begin at approximately 1pm CDT (GMT -5). The expected down time is expected to last from 4 to 6 hours, barring any issues.  They will be brought back online with limited functionality, new features and tools added gradually once we're sure they'll all work well together.
