An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief:  I can't recall in my years of playing having as much fun as this week.  The teamwork and coordination that I have seen from our Axis officers, players and squads has made me really proud to be your CinC.  It has been a very hectic few days and many of us have had little sleep, it has been that exciting.  With all the town and firebase turn-overs, the rotation of brigades on and off the front and the race to beat and counter the Allied movements, much of this week seems like a blur to me.  Without the support of the Axis players and squads, none of these past weeks victories would have been successful.

The challenge is scheduled for July 18th, 2009. This 1st round of Squad Challenges is call "Ambush". A Command column will depart from one town and try to make it to another town while your opponent will parachute into positions along your travel route and try to ambush the column and kill it's commander.

An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief: What a difference a new campaign makes in the fight against the Allied forces.  There have been some great gains this week and more importantly better communication on the chat channels during attacks and defenses.  Axis soldiers have been doing the important work of checking the CPs and attacking in a more coordinated fashion.  The battles in the villages, towns and cities have been impressive, but not as spectacular as the hard fights on the country side and at the firebases.  The fights in these areas really make or break the movement for the map!

An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: What a week.  We pulled together and pushed this map to the end and won.  I would like to thank all the Allies who put in such a hard fought campaign and all the time and effort that was put in by all.  We got pushed back past Antwerp and Brussels.  At times it looked as though we only had a few days left in the campaign before the Axis won.  We the Allies NEVER gave up hope.  We pulled together and push hard to make this one a win.  Everyone worked together tremendously.  The HC kept communication up and you all the players helped the AHC out in accomplishing the objectives and working together.

An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief: S!  I would be remiss if I didn't tell you I feel like Karl Doenitz taking over the German military with the enemy on our front porch and knocking on the door.  However, looking back on this very long campaign, it has been nothing short of amazing.  The battles that were waged and continue to be waged are some of the best that ww2ol has ever seen.  The change over of Antwerp and Brussels from Allied control to Axis, then back to Allied again, the Allied getting cutoff in the south, then the Axis suffering the same fate, truly remarkable.
