An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief: When you read this we have been fighting the allied forces for 36 hours in campaign 52. As campaign 51 ended Fiambre gave me his key to the Commander in Chief office. As I seat here and write to you I am proud for the good team work being done in frontline!

An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: Campaign 52 has begun in earnest. The allies are off to a great start. We have held the axis to very little gains. Epic battles have raged in the south at places such as Longwy and Piennes, which were both pitched battles back and forth. Even though the axis eventually took those towns, our tenacity in defense cost them dearly in supplies preventing them from further advance.

An excerpt from the desk of the Axis Commander-in-Chief:  I lost the sense of time. Four weeks ago I was directing the construction of bunkers for civilians at Koln, Three ago I was inspecting allied material left behind at Antwerp, two weeks ago planning amphibian assault to Dunquerke, and now I am Saluting the prisoners of war captured on the Metz-Sedan-Ste Menehould cut.

An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief:  Well…we have not had as much success as the Axis this week.   Axis forces have poured through a hole in the front at SEDAN and exploited late movements by the Allies away from attacking METZ AF; breaking out and taking our some of our forces off of the map…divisions at a time!  The first week of the campaign the Axis were close to Amiens, then the 3rd week saw the Allies soooo close to Koln, and now this week has brought us the Axis capping England.  This is certainly a historic campaign now.  It is certainly not over.

An excerpt from the desk of the Allied Commander-in-Chief: This week has taken its toll on the Allied forces, with heavy Axis pressure in the North leading to a painful struggle at Turhhout eventually forcing a withdrawal from the good territory we had made from the South.  But the Allies do not say ‘die’, and deep in the down Southern hemisphere, the frightening war cries of excited ANZACs  sound across the Pacific.
