Somewhere just shy north and out west of the Browershaven channel ran into whom I believe was Playtime (PT). PT and I traded salvos and towards the end of the third time FMB Captain "TO" reported another EDD north of my position about 10k and on the coastline which he marked for me. Uh oh...

The battle started out with some axis players attacking Schilde. After a while our troops pushed them back to the FB...Eventually we sapped the FB and realized that the brigade in Grobbendonk was severely attritted and was ready for picking. We immediately got ourselves into the town with little resistance at first, but after 5 to 10 minutes of capping depots the Axis players started to push us back. Eventually they pushed us back to the West side of the town, where the road only separated us from sure Victory.

“A dark and depressing cloud looms over us” the CO was ranting while pacing back and forth. I had just arrived in the briefing room and on hearing this I thought there must have been an axis breakthrough but much to my disappointment it quickly became clear that the CO had assembled us in the briefing room to complain about the weather.

S! Another day spent in the fields and towns of southern Belgium. The enemy was fierce, sending wave after unending wave of armour and infantry against our defenses at Cerfontaine. It seemed everywhere we looked we could see Jerry headed our way. HQ sent word we had to hold out on our own, Reinforcements were still hours away.
