Today, on the 29th day of Campaign #98, the axis side has pushed as far as Abbeville and Montreuil, pushing allied almost off the continent.

However, Amiens, the last remaining french factory town, has withstood axis attacks for several days. Last thursday it was down to just one armybase and one depot, but it held and the allied defenders eventually regained the entire town.
More to the north a small bridgehead still exists with allied holding on to three ports: Boulogne, Calais and Dunkerque. With heavy fighting continuing it will be interesting to see how long allied will be able to hold. If Amiens falls, the axis will be declared victors, due to all french factories being axis.
