Operation Plunder - WWII Online's next major game operation - is coming December 4th 2022 at 10AM Pacific, 12PM Central and 1PM Eastern. With already 89 players signed up, it is poised to be a significantly large campaign operation. This time we'll be unlocking all tanks (with no rank restrictions) for veteran and free players alike, including Steam users. For awhile we have been considering ideas on how to improve network communication between North America & Europe, the bulk of where our worldwide customer base is located. Today we're ecstatic to report that the next step in this exploration which will be in the form of an important live stress test coming this Saturday January 15th at 11AM Pacific Time (1PM Central, 2PM Eastern, 7PM GMT) on an all-new WWII Online server with uber specs located in New Jersey, USA. This marks our first step towards going to the cloud and it also acts as a perfect middle ground between the two continents and our in-house European testers have reported a rather significant drop in ping time. If this all works then we should see less lag reports and player deaths should synchronize more cleanly and quickly.

Remember, this is all exploration and the Oregon based servers will remain in position. Please continue reading for event details provided by TEX64 (Community Manager) and mark your calendars to attend, this is really important!

As announced at our most recent Rat Chat, the time has come for all WWII Online players to rise to the occasion and ensure that the game will continue to be player-driven. In accordance with that goal, we are planning to issue all premium players with the maximum player rank of Lt. Colonel a special subscription enabling the in-game High Command toolset. This will inject many veteran players and squads directly into the strategic component of WWII Online after many years and ensure we have players with operational tools online during all time zones. XOOM

Today I am pleased to announce that CRS has provided Free Play subscription access to ALL veterans of WWII Online, and you may play the game immediately! Anyone who has ever had a premium subscription has received a Free Play sub added to their primary account, meaning all players of WWII Online will now be able to play - always - with Free Play (limited) access. This is a bold move for us but we believe it's not only a great way to keep players connected, but we think it's the right thing to do during this unprecedented time in our world's history to give all of our players the opportunity to play the game and disconnect from stress. We see this as a perpetual "welcome back soldier" while still maintaining the value of our subscriptions. Please continue reading for more information.
