Christmas is coming, and we want to show you the self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicles inbound to WWII Online! A quick video (within the article) will show you instantly that these weapon platforms are going to have a BIG impact on the game for Pilots and AA gunners. One thing is for sure, we can't wait to see you guys go nuts with these things in-game. This will mark the first truly new vehicle that CRS 2.0 has added to the game and internally we couldn't be more ecstatic about expanding our development capabilities. So buckle up, it's Friday update time!
SELF-PROPELLED ANTI-AIRCRAFT
We couldn't be more thrilled to show these vehicles off! Here's a first look at the Sdkfz 7 (SPAA) with a Flak28 mounted on top and the Allied (shared) Crusader (SPAA) with a Bofors on top. These vehicles will be able to be multi crewed (or individually) and the possibilities of dynamic placement on the battlefield is going to be a very big deal. AA platforms will now be in new areas previously unseen because of its self-propelled ability and armor columns will likely have greater anti-air support.
We have also added a couple of spots for infantry to ride on these vehicles for extra protection and/or increased logistics capabilities. Ride with a SPAA and protect it from infantry / spot for it!
THIS IS A GAME CHANGER FOR AA GUNNERS & PILOTS!
DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP UPDATE INCOMING
Each new year we work to update and revise our development roadmap to make sure we keep you guys briefed on the most important information available with regards to our development plans. First, let me say that the previous year has been a huge success for us in terms of unlocking new found development capabilities that were long lost. Our new Cornered Rat Software team (and company) has been maturing quite a bit and our delivery capabilities have grown exponentially these last 12 months.
We have a saying with this team that we take very seriously, and that is: "Underpromise, over deliver." When we make a commitment to you, it is our full intention to accomplish that mission. Sometimes these things take longer than we expect (or desire), and we make improvements where possible. So our 2018 roadmap plan will include delivery on several items we have mentioned relating to new content introduced to WWII Online that was unable to be released during 2017. Several of these action items are actually in progress, some are almost completed.
The High Explosive and Kinetic Energy audits absorbed far more time than any of us expected from a production delivery stand point and will be coming in the 1st Quarter of 2018. Our current priority is to make sure you guys have a great Christmas and we get you some new stuff and fixes (some un-announced).
1.36 QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
I've spent some important time answering as many player questions as I can right now about what to expect with our next major version (1.36) which covers the Hybrid Supply system (a combination of moveable brigades and town based supply). This is a pretty important topic which will change the game as you know it to be played from a strategic perspective and should definitely read up on it.
Check out the 1.36 vital questions and answers located (here).
CRS IS WORKING HARD FOR YOU!
We've been so busy grinding in the day-day that our communication has been a little less as of late. Sorry about that, there's so much to do that we've been slammed. Just wanted to make a quick comment here that everything is solid and we're ecstatic about our progress being made. I can't wait to get you that development roadmap coming and share with you our vision of what 2018 is going to look like.
Stay patient and optimistic guys, we're poised to have a substantial year ahead of us and with your continued support, that is going to be possible for us to continue on this forward track of progression! - WOOOOOOT!

Thanks for your support, we really appreciate it!
I understand why you feel that way, as some time has passed. We made some tough but obvious decisions to achieve the goals we have in mind. Through our discussion in that 1.36 thread we have confirmed our commitment to resolving the current brigade / supply issues that exist. Words are cheap and our delivery on our promises have and will continue to be made. It takes time and patience to slug through this stuff. All we can do is ask for your support and keep marching forward. Salute
