We've decided to extend the testing schedule for the offline Beta client until Monday, January 11th. We've also built the Mac client of this test version and it is now available for download.
We've been reviewing the submissions from our test survey and have gathered a lot of data. We're learning a few things we didn't know, including a huge number of you are running Windows 7 64bit. We are cautiously optimistic that 1.31 performance is in the ballpark of our expectations. We are continuing to optimize where we can in an effort to see further improvement.
We'd like more testing data and encourage anyone who hasn't had the chance to download and run the benchmark tests, to do it before Monday, January 11th.
We are also happy to make the Macintosh client available. We extended our test schedule in part to give our Mac users time to get the offline Beta client and submit their test results.
Get the client and test procedure by visiting the Game Testing forum.
So the Linux-version is being released soon too?
It is not nice to guard a CP or AB and there is only one way in, To have a mac player shoot you in the back!
Sorry to hear that the Offline test only got extended till the 11th of January. Doe'snt giv us Mac users lots of time... But Guess it will do.
