The RATS have been hard at work behind the scenes, and tonight at 6PM Pacific (8PM Central, 9PM Eastern) we will be introducing hotfix version 1.36.18.1. This includes lots of great fixes to the recently introduced mortar carriers, new sounds, and updated range-finding capabilities for several commander positions. It's patch day here at WWII Online - w00t! Introducing a big roadmap delivery Motorized Mortar Carriers, 25 new towns, new PPOs, and several features and bug fixes! Mortar Carriers are capable of firing up to 2,000-3,000m with indirect fire (smoke + HE rounds) and their commander is equipped with a range finder. Current light mortars ingame are 50mm (compared to the new 81mm) and only have a range of 500m (compared to 2-3k). Work together, get forward observers and if mortars are your thing - this is the biggest mortar implementation (self-propelled even) that we have ever done for WWII Online! All coming to WWII Online tonight at 6PM Server Time (GMT -8), or 8PM Central, 9PM Eastern.

Introducing two new Roadmap deliveries 1) Junkers Ju-88A4 for the German Luftwaffe, 2) M1919A6 Light machine gun for the US Army & Airborne; and the return of the mighty "Dinant" Citadel (Fortress), easily see PPO descriptions on the HUD prior to placement, Side-channel being returned to default, and a new air raid siren. As we have now launched Welcome Back Soldier (WBS) (which runs from 6/1 - 6/15) we're also releasing Version 1.36.17.0 A New Dawn for Paratroopers themed patch tonight at 6PM Pacific Time, which includes the three new airborne classes, resupply canister, and three great 2022 Roadmap deliveries! Of those deliveries is the introduction of "Mobile Airfields" in WWII Online where players can deploy side-based airfield PPOs and friendly planes can land at and resupply their ammo, bombs, etc. Spread the word and let's get players in WWII Online for this WBS!
