7 Years is Almost 9

We recently celebrated the 7th anniversary of the game's launch. I was really pleased to see the number of players who came back to check out the game again and visit with old friends. For many players, it's been five, six or even seven years since they first logged into the virtual battlefield of "WWII Online". For us, the staff of Playnet and Cornered Rat Software, seven years really means nine.

I joined the company when it was only a few months old. While I wasn't one of the original "Cornered Rats" that fled i-Magic Online for a fresh start, I have been here as long or longer than all but a few. The 7th anniversary was fun and it was terrific to see the excitement surrounding the events but for me, it also reminded me of how many years I've been working away at this project and the many friends that have moved on.

I want to acknowledge the people who are no longer on the roster but meant so much to the success we've had.
