Our latest player poll reveals that CRS' highly successful RAT CHATS could see attendance double in future sessions. Cornered Rat Software has built something of a reputation in the MMOG industry for communications with its player community about development of the game and its future. Forum postings and mailbag Q&A's keep information flowing, but nothing beats a real time chat with the RATS. These chats are generally scheduled during the week, alternating between North American and European friendly time-zones.
We're happy to present our new official homepage for WWII Online: Battleground Europe. It's been more than three years since the last redesign when we were supporting the European retail release of the game. This time around, we turned our focus towards providing a more comprehensive news and information site which brings all the terrific content that is generated by the staff of Cornered Rat Software and the various community programs to the front- ensuring visitors understand that the game and the community are active and robust.
We've closed the voting for our first player poll conducted on our new website. The question we asked was, "News & Info Easier to Find?" and the majority of players gave it a thumbs up. Despite being unfamiliar with the new format and presentation, 68% of voters agreed that the new site made finding news about the game easier.

The Dutch version of GAMEStm magazine will be publishing a multi-page article and review about Battleground Europe in issue #5 which will hit news stands in September. Editor Peter van den Dungen was introduced to the game by members of our Dutch community. Tettie and Mecanita visited Peter at the GAMEStm office and navigated him through the game and the community and answered his questions about things like weapons, brigades, squads and game mechanics.
