If you using an ATI Radeon 4900 or 5000 series card (e.g., 5770, 5870, etc.), you are probably getting a CTD after a varying amount of time spawned into the game. Our lead graphics programmer is working on solving this issue, but some players have found a possible work around.
ATI has also just released a hotfix for the 5800 series.

Latest Update: This issue appears to be resolved. CSR is now showing the most recent sorties logged by players. I compared the logs and CSR for those reporting an issue in the Barracks and they all are up to date.

ATI has just now released the 9.12 drivers. These appear to resolve the persistent crashing problem experienced by owners of the 5xxx and 4xxx series cards!
I've been testing the early leaked version of these for a day now and so far, no problems! That includes the 1.31 beta. Big thanks to Mitchlin for posting about these yesterday and to the following players for testing and reporting on them: Krhkmies, Jose, Bierbaer, and Mutt!
