Today Open Beta for Version 1.37.13.0 begins and with it comes the completion of two major roadmap deliveries. Addressing population balance to ensure we have a healthier game is our top priority and this marks a major step in that direction to achieving it. We anticipate once this patch goes live we will have a combination of "Side Lock" and "Spawn Delay" for Free to Play to ensure the most rapid side balancing possible.
Please join our Open Beta which is designed to provide you an early access opportunity to review the next incoming patch and help us find any potential issues before it reaches the Campaign server. This initiative was requested by many community members and we look forward to your support in effective bug reporting at https://www.wwiionline.com/bugs.

We've placed heavy emphasis on reducing population imbalance and created new tools that will first be applied to Free Play accounts. Capturing mechanics have been updated to create a Tug of War scenario. Your bug reports have resulted into multiple bug fixes and we thank you for those efforts. Updated Capture Mechanics: "Tug of War."
Game Population Balance Tools added for Game Management:
Side Lock: Prevents joining overpopulated side.
Spawn Queue: Places user into a queue and must wait their turn to spawn if side is overpopulated.
Aircraft Trim now has a rate limiter applied to it.
Game client will now prompt you to submit a crash log.
Upsell frequency for free players should now be reduced.
Several unit reservation pictures have been updated.
The cities of Maastricht and Reims have been split into two cities.
Several existing towns have new roads and links between them:
Diest <–> Tienen.
Aarschot <–> Geel.
Wavre <–> Leuven.
Halle <–> Waterloo.
Zandvliet <–> Kalmthout.
Hamoir <–> Hampteau.
Bievre <–> Montherme.
BUG FIXES
Game client localization restored for: Spanish, German, French, Italian, Chinese and Russian languages.
Installer client localization options restored and improved.
Phase 1 (foundation) pass on HE on armor, HE now detonates impact point and throws shrapnel outward. Additional patching needed related to armor penetration.
Spawn delay permissions logic fixed to prevent unintended application.
Barbed wire fences colliders repaired and now stop infantry.
Panther fixes on model accuracy, armor angles corrected.
A22 Churchill bowgunner now dies from fuel fire.
Stuarts no longer have see-through back hull.
Panzer 3N driver shutter now has appropriate hitmap.
Stug 3GS hulk now displays correctly.
Auto-take off now works at Ath AF hangar.
Docks damage state center path no longer blocked.
Some tree billboards repaired.
Remagen tile and texture fixes.
