Welcome aboard, Azantis!

Please join me in welcoming WWII Online’s new Community Manager, AZANTIS!

During his time as a community member, he has consistently worked to create a better player experience — from providing regular strategic map updates while serving in High Command, to developing impressive web-based tools leveraging WWII Online’s Wiretap system.

In this role, he will help improve and optimize community awareness, support and evolve our High Command systems, and — like all great Community Managers — serve as the bridge connecting the player base with the development team to strengthen communication across the game.

He will need all of our support, as the role of Community Manager is one of the most challenging positions in our organization. I ask everyone, from top to bottom, to work alongside him. He is a sharp individual with genuine intent to help build our game forward.

All members of CRS are actively working to improve WWII Online, and we are grateful that AZANTIS has stepped forward to help lead this important effort within our studio.

MESSAGE FROM AZANTIS

An amazing day to everyone! My name is Azantis and will be the new Community Manager at CRS!

AZANTIS, WWII Online's new Community Manager.

Ever since I joined this community I was astonished by the love and dedication most players and the developers themselves had for this long lived project, and I always wondered what was the main drive behind it all, behind the effort to keep this history rolling and always improving on itself... Turns out it is because most of CRS have started out as players and have, at some point, decided to take a leap and dedicate their time to this game from the developer side of things... Just like I just did!

I started out as High Command on the Axis side, being the XXO of the 16th ID, and getting people together, trying to form armored columns and offensives was (and still is) my main passion. Soon I realized that giving a good situational awareness was something I could do to help the Axis side, by providing maps, reports and 'directives' in order to motivate the player base towards a shared goal.

Later on I reached the position of DCoS, improved on my reports, maps and orders, and now I have taken a step back from HC in order to take this leap forward by coming to the position of Community Manager.

By becoming Community Manager, I wish to help out CRS and the community to develop this game we all love and cherish so dearly by being the middleman between CRS inner workings and the community itself. To work alongside the player base to present your concerns to those in charge in a organized and neutral manner, to present the community with the news and messages from the developers in a timely fashion and to always keep you informed to the best of my capacities.

To achieve all of this, I would like to request the support of everyone involved, no man can achieve anything alone, but I believe that with the help of our great community we will help this game as a whole reach even greater heights!

I do not vow to know everything, nor to answer instantly to all doubts and concerns, but I do guarantee that I will direct my efforts towards this, towards intermediating the community and CRS to the best of my capacities.
