Dropping Mac "Intel" support: 1JUNE2027

With Apple Silicon in play for several years now, they have offered continued backwards compatability with Mac "Intel" based computers via Rosetta. However, we are currently on the last available MacOS (27) to offer that level of support. To that end:

WWII Online will officially discontinue Mac "Intel" support effective June 1st, 2027.

If you're a Mac player on an M1 or greater chip this notice does not apply to you - you're good to go.

If you're on Intel, it is time to upgrade ASAP. With Black Friday, Christmas and tax returns in the spring of next year, you'll have some options to work this out. Marketplace might also be a good place to look for some high quality used M1+ chips. Do whatever you believe is best, of course.

It is our intent to keep the WWII Online Mac client operational and we must stay on the latest version(s) to see that through. We hope this offers sufficient notice and preparation time for you.

Thank you to all of our Mac players, and we hope you let some other folks know about our game as we are one of the only WWII FPS games on Mac.
