Recently, WWII ONLINE unveiled the WORK IN PROGRESS Panzer 38(t) interior and exterior. In this second episode of the Tier Zero tanks, the British A-13 is showcased as WWII ONLINE continues improving existing models and artwork - inside and out.

A brief recap of how CRS introduces vehicles and weapon "future proofing":

  • CRS makes the model to the Unreal Engine standard (no duplication of effort)

  • The higher-resolution model can be DIRECTLY plugged into an Unreal Engine environment

  • Model is baked down to a polycount threshold that the present engine can sustain

We are pleased to share this WORK IN PROGRESS and note these models remain subject to change until the final model is released in a future update.

VEHICLE UPDATE: British A-13

(ALL ART & FUNCTIONAL ITEMS REMAIN SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

  • The tank commander's cupola rotates with the commander, independent of the turret.

  • The tank commander uses the H key (open hatch) to open the armored vision slit on front of cupola for forward view.

  • The tank commander uses instrument view (num pad ins) to look closer through the armored cupola vision slit.

  • The premium A13 has twin 1-shot smoke launchers on the right side of the turret operated by the commander's primary fire control button (same as the Matilda's smoke launcher).

  • DLC A13 has a different exterior paint scheme.

  • DLC A13 does not have the smoke launcher.

  • All other functions remain unchanged for crew positions 1 (driver) and 3 (gunner).

In future episodes, CRS will be sharing WORK IN PROGRESS updates for the French R-35 tank. Once complete, the team of TYRDAIMP, MKW, and SLAMEN, led by HATCH, will begin the process again and continue reworking other original vehicle assets from 2001.

OUR THANKS TO YOU!

We are literally one week away from celebrating the 25th Anniversary of WWII ONLINE on June 6th, 2026.

It is INCREDIBLE to think WWII ONLINE has continued for twenty-five years, but that is because of YOU, because without the support of the community, we would not still be here today. As long as we continue to work together, CRS 2.0 will continue to pursue ongoing game development.
